I did download RealPlayer SP 12.0.1 (1750) from which I listed below. Downloading the DMG from their official site installs version 2.0.10 (2.0.10.89) but I couldn't get anything listed under fx42 in about:plugins/about:addons. RealPlayer’s cryptic error messages would then taunt you mercilessly without providing a viable solution to the problem. Prone to corrupting the Windows registry, streams would often fail to load entirely for absolutely no reason. I'm having problems finding a relatively recent version of RealPlayer for OSX. RealPlayer was a toxic and constant presence that flooded the user’s screen with advertisements and pop-ups.
